Kayla Belanger PT, DPT, SCS
Kayla is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Board-Certified Sports Specialist with a strong background in Sports Medicine and Orthopedics. A Connecticut native, she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut.
With a lifelong passion for sports—including soccer, basketball, lacrosse, and golf—Kayla found her calling in sports medicine early on. She has dedicated her career to working in outpatient settings, helping patients of all ages and athletic abilities, from weekend warriors to competitive athletes, recover and return to peak performance. Kayla has a particular interest in post-operative rehabilitation and is known for her patient-centered, individualized treatment approach.
She believes that physical therapy should not only be effective but also enjoyable, and she strives to create a positive, encouraging environment where patients can expect to work hard and laugh along the way. Outside of the clinic, Kayla enjoys spending time with her friends, family and beloved dog, golfing, and listening to music.

Josh Lombardo PT, DPT
Josh is a Maine native who grew up in Westbrook. He earned his bachelor’s degree in public health from Brandeis University and went on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at the University of Connecticut. After spending several years away for his education, he is excited to return home and re-engage with the Greater Portland community.
Josh’s passion for physical therapy is deeply connected to his personal love of movement. An avid hiker, runner, and cyclist, he brings that same enthusiasm into his work—empowering patients to achieve their goals, improve their quality of life, and return to the activities they enjoy most. His clinical interests include balance training, joint replacement rehabilitation, and working with runners.
Outside the clinic, you can often find Josh running the Portland trails, out on a bike ride, reading a good book, or spending quality time with his family.
