Kayla Henderson, PTA

Kayla Henderson, a certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), was born in Portland, Maine, and grew up in Casco. In 2015, she and her husband became the proud owners of her family’s house, where they are now raising their children. Her passion for healthcare has always been evident, driven by her desire to assist people in their journey towards better health. While her initial direction within the realm of recovery was uncertain, her college years allowed her to delve deeper into the field of rehabilitation, ultimately guiding her path.

Athletics have been a significant part of Kayla’s life, with an active involvement in sports like soccer, field hockey, and softball during her upbringing. She finds joy in being a spectator at baseball and football games and has had the rewarding experience of coaching her oldest son’s soccer team during his second-grade year.

Kayla’s educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University in 2007 and an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Kennebec Valley Community College in 2013. Kayla is enthusiastic about further enhancing her knowledge by pursuing additional Postural Restoration training opportunities, allowing her to broaden her expertise.

Nancy Crawford, PT
Clinic Director- Windham

From high school, Nancy had a clear goal of finding a career path that would allow her to combine her love for science with her desire to assist others in enhancing their health and fitness. After completing her education at Simmons College Boston, Nancy worked as a traveling physical therapist for some time and ultimately chose to make southern Maine her permanent home. She has now lived in Maine for over 25 years. During her leisure time, Nancy enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with her poodle, Percy. In recent years, Nancy has participated in multiple sessions on the Postural Restoration (PRI) approach. This method has considerably influenced Nancy’s approach to evaluating and treating patients. As a result, she now applies it to all her treatments.
