Hallee Breton

Hallee Breton

Hallee Breton, PT, DPT

Hallee, who grew up in a rural town in central Maine, developed a love for the outdoors and physical activity at a young age through camping trips with her family. Her appreciation for human movement, which she cultivated through dancing, led her to pursue a career in physical therapy. She attended Husson University in Bangor, Maine, where she received her bachelor’s in kinesiology in 2017 and then a doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019. She is certified in dry needling and has participated in several Postural Restoration sessions to further her knowledge. Being a physical therapist brings her a lot of fulfillment. One of her most memorable success stories is of a patient who had a fall and ruptured a muscle in her shoulder, which prevented her from reaching more than 10 inches away from her body. Through Hallee’s guidance and therapy, the patient was able to regain the ability to reach above her shoulder height and can now put on a shirt normally.

Chris Heuss, PT, MS.
Clinic Director Bath

Chris grew up in Syracuse, NY, and eventually made his way to Chicago, IL, where he worked as a counselor and advocate for adults with disabilities. It was at this time that he first saw the significant benefits that occurred when he took clients to their physical therapy sessions. That experience and his fascination with how the human body works led to his passion for becoming a physical therapist.

He graduated from Hobart College in 1990 with a BA and then attended graduate school at Boston University. Chris graduated from Boston University in 1997 with an MS in physical therapy. After graduate school, he worked at Newton Wellesley Hospital outside of Boston until 2003. He then happily moved to Maine and started working at Riverview Physical Therapy. Chris has participated in numerous continuing education courses, including with the Postural Restoration Institute, advanced manual therapy skill training, and Kinesio taping. He loves advancing his skills and learning new techniques that benefit his patients, and he will always continue to seek out the best courses and learning opportunities.

When not in the clinic, Chris enjoys being outdoors, backpacking, kayaking, mountain biking, skiing, and rock climbing. This is when he is his happiest. Especially when doing this with his wife and two sons.

Chris feels fortunate to work with the people who make up the Riverview Physical Therapy team. He says, “We all work together to provide the best care possible for our patients. Each therapist and office staff member brings unique skills and personality traits that blend well and have given us an excellent reputation in our communities.” Chris is good at listening to his patients and discovering their personal goals. He has a way of making people feel comfortable, and his clinic has a friendly environment. Everyone in the clinic is dedicated to the people in the Bath community. They work with Morse High School to mentor students considering becoming physical therapists and also provide community outreach, including a falls prevention education lecture to seniors.
